Project SOS reaches more teenagers and their parents than most similar organizations in the nation.
Annually, more than 15,000 families are directly impacted by our Health Programs, Mentoring Clubs and parent and student magazines.
Project SOS has helped reduce the teen births in females ages 15-17 by 55% in six counties served by Project SOS.
Project SOS has developed a national model for changing the youth culture called "EDUTAINMENT". This successful model builds skills in students that allows them to reach their goals while avoiding drugs, alcohol, premarital sex, suicide and violence. The model is used nationwide and in 13 cities in Russia.
Project SOS has a very active Board of Directors who meet monthly. 100% of the board donate annually to help further the mission of strengthening families by empowering parents and educating youth to make healthy life choices.
By the end of the 2009 school year more than 330,000 teenagers and their families will have been directly served by the staff of Project SOS.
