How Your Donation Empowers Teens
Since 1993, our donors have helped us impact the lives of 460,000 middle and high school students in over 94 schools across Northeast Florida!
We’ve also trained more than 400 low-income individuals on how to maintain healthy relationships, fight fair, manage their finances, co-parent and communicate effectively.
From the moment one of Project SOS’s Youth Development Specialist walks into a classroom, they are working to accomplish one thing: empower teens to set personal goals, establish personal boundaries and use refusal skills to avoid drugs, alcohol and other risky behaviors.
Your donations provide students with our Envision: Defining Your Direction In Life workbook, a Youth Development Specialist and the materials needed for the games, music activities and equipment Project SOS uses to create ‘edutaining’ classroom presentations.
Today’s teens live in a connected world where many can’t imagine a life without internet access. Common Sense Media reports that the average teen spends 9 hours on media, daily. Project SOS is committed to reaching teens online with our critical life skills and relatable online content.
Your donation helps fund the development of our online learning resources, including Envision Online, website upkeep, content creation and licensing. Your resources help us to maintain a updated and rich online environment that keeps teens coming back for more!
We’re not stopping!
Project SOS’ mission is to “Strengthen Our Society.” We help teens understand the risks of drug, alcohol, bullying, suicide and abuse. In addition, we teach teens how to avoid sexual risk behaviors so they can achieve and focus on their goals and dreams.
We’re “Strengthening Our Society” by creating the tools necessary to empower teens and adults. Join us as we impact and inspire tomorrows’ leaders.
Urgent Help Needed!
Without your help, we cannot cover the cost to provide 10,000 students with our Envision student workbooks. Your donation can dramatically impact the lives of Northeast Florida teenagers.
Your $25 investment provides one student with the Envision workbook, our staff-developed 8-hour curriculum, and a youth development specialist trained to engage students – empowering them with the skills needed for their success. Our curriculum is medically accurate, age appropriate and evidence-based.
